Open platform security management specialist Quanika has celebrated great success at this year’s Security Event, which took place at NEC Birmingham, from April 30 to May 2, and used the show to unveil its new technology partnership with HID, and talk about some of its other innovations and integrations in the pipeline for 2024 and beyond.
At the show, Quanika’s HID integrations for controllers, readers, mobile credentials and more, were promoted to everyone who visited the CIE Group stand and on the Digifort stand where Quanika was present. Visitors agreed that the cost-effective nature of HID Aero Controller makes it the perfect complement to sites using Mercury and wishing to expand sites in a cost-effective way, the company said.
A particularly popular talking point included Quanika’s system takeover solutions for retro-fit projects, suited to dynamic end user preferences.
There was also much interest in the brand’s Healthcare, Travel and Education applications – Quanika Enterprise, VisitorPoint and Face ID can be used standalone / combined as tailored solutions for these sites.
Additionally, there was a party atmosphere on the packed CIE Group CIE stand, where 60th anniversary celebrations were taking place, and due to the great range of offerings displayed.
General manager Leo Cook commented: “The show offered a great opportunity to see Quanika’s full range of controller integrations on display, with a variety of readers and intercoms, where the firm also highlighted its ‘open platform’ approach.
“It was great catching up with existing and new customers, and updating them on all the new ways they can enhance their systems.
“In terms of what we’re looking forward to, we have a new version of Face ID app (V2) coming soon, and for next year’s show, where we hope to see even more people, we will have even more solutions and integrations.”
Look out for news of other products coming soon.
