Inner Range have closed off 2022 in style as they have won the Innovator of the Year Award from Benchmark.

Speaking to Benchmark Magazine’s Geni Caloisi, Tim Northwood, Sales Director at Inner Range, said Inner Range products were constantly evolving and the award was recognition of the work which goes into keeping Integriti and Inception, our intelligent integrated access control systems, versatile and easy to use.

Inner Range claim they have a track record of excellent scalability and integration with third party products and with more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, are also key features which makes them a key player.

Tim said: “We are different from other companies in our approach to the product offering that we bring to market.

“While offering a lot of power and integration compared to other products, operators benefit from using a single  unified platform. The product they experience is so much more than just access control. The integration options are vast, and include CCTV, high level lift control, ANPR and visitor management to name just a few.

“We have more than 30 years’ experience in the industry and have been making all our own hardware and software since 1998. We supply clients in more than 30 countries through a network of more than 5,000 system integrators.”

Inner Range has three platforms: Integriti , Integriti High Security and Inception.

Integriti is their flagship system for enterprise clients. It is described as very scalable, from a single door to tens of thousands of doors and inputs with up to a million users across multiple sites. It’s widely used in many countries by governments, high security military operations, as well as commercially, in education, and in healthcare.

Inception is their entry level product that’s web-based with no software needed and is suitable for single sites. It scales from one to 128 doors and has 3,000 inputs, and is designed to make installation very easy. It also has excellent integration with CCTV.

Tim said research and development (R&D) contributes hugely to how Inner Range has won the Benchmark award.

He said: “One of the reasons we are great at innovation is because our R&D team works very fast. They create great integrations to improve our products, often in response to customer feedback.

“If one of our customers asks for something that’s reasonable, that we see there’s a market for, and they want to integrate a particular service or system into our product, we do that very quickly. We test it well before it goes to market and that really drives our business.
