Maxxess project recognised by Latin American Security Association

The Maxxess project “Heading Towards a Safe Smart Port” presented by PRODAR, with the authorisation of the administration of the Manzanillo National Port System (ASIPONA Manzanillo), has achieved outstanding recognition by obtaining Second Place in the prestigious “Best Latin American Security Project” contest.

The contest is organised by the Latin American Security Association (ALAS), with the event aiming to recognise and promote excellence in security projects throughout Latin America

The award ceremony took place on August 16 in the city of Bogotá Colombia, where the project was honoured with a recognition plate and a statuette as a symbol of its outstanding achievement in the field of security.

This recognition is being seen by Maxxess as a testimony to the commitment and innovation of PRODAR and ASIPONA Manzanillo in guaranteeing the comprehensive security of port operations.

The ALAS “Best Latin American Security Project” contest is a platform that recognises and rewards the efforts of security projects which contribute significantly to the protection of people, assets and property throughout the region.

The evaluation criteria faced aspects such as technological innovation, contribution to safety, originality, social impact, and installation quality.
