Ahead of exhibiting at Intersec 2026, RecFaces has announced major updates to its flagship products Id-Guard and Id-Gate.
The updates deliver higher levels of accuracy, security and operational usability for partners and customers across MENA, APAC, LATAM and global markets.
The new releases address growing demand from system integrators, security distributors, and enterprise customers for scalable, high-accuracy facial biometrics suitable for real-world deployments such as transport hubs, critical infrastructure, commercial facilities, and smart cities.
Both Id-Guard and Id-Gate are now powered by an upgraded facial recognition algorithm ranked among the Top 5 globally by NIST.
The latest version delivers:
- significantly higher identification accuracy
- improved consistency in challenging conditions, including poor lighting or partial face visibility
- faster and more reliable real-time recognition performance in operational environments
These improvements are important for large-scale security deployments, where biometric systems must operate reliably across diverse environments, lighting conditions, and high traffic volumes.
“At RecFaces, we always listen to our clients’ needs. Many of the new features in this release were implemented based on their requests — whether it’s easier configuration, greater automation, or deeper integration with existing systems,” Farida Baichora, Product Owner at RecFaces, said. “Our goal is to make facial biometrics not just powerful, but practical and intuitive for everyday use.”
RecFaces will be exhibiting at stand S1-H24 alongside Milestone Systems at Intersec 2026, which takes place from January 12-14, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
