Fastlane Turnstiles will be showcasing two new Glassgate entrance control turnstiles at The Security Event 2024, which takes place from April 30-May 2.
Visitors to The Security Event at the NEC in Birmingham will be among the first to see the Fastlane Glassgate 150 Plus and Glassgate 250 Plus in action on stand 5/H60.
In addition, a new concept will also feature on stand, with further information only available to visitors of the show.
The Glassgate 150 Plus is an expanded version of the original Glassgate 150 and offers a 1000mm lane width option, which Fastlane insists won’t compromise on aesthetics or functionality.
According to Fastlane, this latest iteration boasts enhanced features, including concealed optical systems – resulting in a sleeker appearance and easier maintenance – and a strengthened brake to accommodate the larger glass panels, providing extra holding force.
As standard, the Glassgate 150 Plus features a stainless steel enclosure with a brushed finish and a black glass pedestal top. However, like other models in the Fastlane range, alternative materials and finishes can be accommodated upon request.
“We listened to our customers’ feedback and identified a growing demand for wider lane widths without sacrificing quality or affordability,” said Tony Smith, Major Accounts and Marketing Manager at Integrated Design Limited (IDL). “The Fastlane Glassgate 150 Plus addresses this need by providing a wider lane at the same price point as the original Glassgate 150, offering increased accessibility, a cleaner aesthetic which aligns seamlessly with modern architectural designs and enhanced security, all within a similar footprint.”
In addition to the Glassgate 150 Plus, IDL is also launching the Glassgate 250 Plus at the show. Originally created to meet a customer request – who required taller glass barriers on a Glassgate 250 – the original model has been tailored to meet this specific requirement.
As with the new Glassgate 150 Plus and other models in the Fastlane range, the 250 Plus comes with customisation options, allowing clients to further tailor their security solutions to suit their unique requirements.
“We continuously seek ways to enhance our products to provide our customers with cutting-edge security innovations,” continues Smith.“ “These recent adaptations guarantee that we remain capable of delivering entrance control solutions tailored to diverse locations and needs.
“We invite attendees of The Security Event to visit the Fastlane stand, where our team will gladly showcase these new products as well as some of the firm favourites within the Fastlane and Door Detective range.”
