Dubai Police received seven awards in 2023, spanning local, regional and international categories.

This accomplishment was confirmed by His Excellency Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations at Dubai Police, during an inspection visit to the General Department of Human Resources.

Dubai Police believes that these awards recognise their relentless drive to incorporate global best practices into its human resources management strategies.

These initiatives are part of a broader strategy aimed at reinforcing Dubai Police’s status as a leader in policing by effectively utilising all resources to achieve the strategic objectives outlined by the force.

The inspection visit was part of Dubai Police’s annual review program, which assesses the performance and developments across various departments and police stations.

Al Ghaithi was joined by Dubai Police senior officers, including His Excellency Major General Ahmad Mohammed Rafie, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, and His Excellency Major General Dr. Saleh Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources.

During the visit, Al Ghaithi praised the General Department of Human Resources for its pivotal role in enhancing Dubai Police’s capabilities through targeted education and training personnel at reputable universities.

This focus on human resource development is seen as crucial for advancing Dubai Police’s key operational processes and achieving leadership in the sector.

Dubai Police received several awards in 2023, including the Best Localisation Agency Award in the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, the Work Environment Quality of Life Award, and the Professional Talents Award.
