Kidde Commercial is proud to announce the launch of its latest addition to the EXCELLENCE series – the AIO (All-in-One) device range, once again proving its commitment to innovation and safety.
An all-inclusive solution for a variety of applications, these AIO devices feature EN54-approved optical and multisensor variants with integrated short circuit isolation, sounder and VAD. This eliminates a need for separate detection and notification devices in multiple applications, saving both installation time and costs.
Kidde Commercial’s EXCELLENCE AIO devices offer added convenience, aesthetics and safety. They are available in traffic white and graphite black, and can be personalised with 32 freely configurable tones with four freely configurable SPL levels, as well as three freely configurable VAD power levels to suit the installation location. They support dual tri-colour notification LEDs for clear operational status indication from all directions, and an address label for easy labelling and identification for maintenance purposes.
Being part of the EXCELLENCE series, the AIO range is packed with all the technology of the EXCELLENCE detectors including:
- Patented optical sensing technology with MIE light scattering theory to accurately differentiate between nuisance particles and serious threats, greatly reducing false alarms
- Ability to identify particulate associated with specific fires and elevate these in process consideration, making detection faster and more accurate.
- Dual automatically selected detection modes to switch from standard to analysis mode as necessary.
- Temperature compensated optical detection for accurate detection throughout the operational temperature range
- Drift compensation and contamination detection where clean air values are regularly checked and updated. Clean air values are determined using three optical LEDs, and are calculated during power up, after a system reset and automatically every 2 hours
