The Security Event (TSE) interview: DeterTech

DeterTech TSE

In this exclusive chat, Jak Edwards, Head of Construction at DeterTech, tells us what we can expect from the brand at The Security Event (TSE), where the company will take stand 5/C42.

Why is TSE an important show for you?

Jak Edwards: “TSE is an important opportunity to engage directly with security decision-makers across multiple sectors and provides us with a strong platform to demonstrate how we approach security as a strategy rather than simply a product. The event is also an opportunity to share insight-led thinking around emerging crime trends and prevention and bring awareness of these issues affecting critical infrastructure.”

What can visitors expect from you at the show? Why should they visit your stand?

JE: “Visitors to our stand can expect insight into how our crime intelligence and ARC capabilities enable faster response times and better outcomes. We’ll be having practical, real-world conversations around challenges facing a range of sectors including tool and equipment theft, trespass and site vulnerability, and vehicle and retail theft. We’ll also be showcasing our joined-up approach that combines deterrence, detection, and forensic marking.”

Can we expect any announcements from you at the show?

JE: “At this year’s event we’ll be focusing on how we continue to evolve and develop our integrated security offering, highlighting innovation across both our technology and intelligence-led approach to security. A key announcement we are excited about is the launch of our partnership with Gallagher Insurers who will be joining us for our speaking slot at the show.”

What are you most looking forward to at the show?

JE: “The Security Event is always a valuable opportunity for us to connect with a broad range of organisations and have meaningful conversations about the security challenges they’re facing today; in particular, we are looking forward to meeting new people who may be experiencing issues that DeterTech can support with. We also really value the chance to speak with businesses that have already implemented our solutions, hearing first-hand about the positive impact they’ve seen and how they’ve successfully prevented crime.”
