The BSIA have announced Rachel Fleri, Owner and Managing Director of Specialist Security Co LTD as Chair of the British Security Industry Association’s Security Officers Section Committee.

Rachel established Specialist Security Co Ltd, 25 years ago in 2001 after entering the industry from a background of teaching and pharmaceutical sales, bringing with her an alternative perspective on service delivery within the sector.
 
Specialist Security is now recognised as the leading privately owned supplier of quality security services in Wales. Rachel drives a strong, inclusive culture and a desire to raise standards within the Security Industry.

Rachel is a strong supporter of the Regulator and currently leads their regional network forum for Approved Contractor companies. Rachel also sits on the Security Industry Authority’s Stakeholders Forum and is a supplier representative on Business Approval Strategy Board currently revising the voluntary approval scheme with the SIA. Rachel is also an S12 Security Guarding Leadership Group Board Member.

The BSIA pledges to be the voice of the professional security industry, supporting and encouraging excellence; educating the marketplace on the value of quality and professional security; and creating an environment in which to flourish.

In addition, the BSIA – which stands for British Security Industry Association – has been operating for five decades, representing a wide range of members committed to safeguarding the people, property, and infrastructure of the United Kingdom.
