Genetec Inc. (“Genetec”) is now inviting contributions for the 7th annual edition of its global State of Physical Security report, with end users, channel partners and consultants encouraged to share their insights.
In 2025, Genetec’s survey received responses from over 7,300 participants across six continents, offering valuable insight into emerging trends within the industry. The report found that interest in adopting AI has more than doubled among end users since the previous year. Additionally, security is increasingly being used as a strategic enterprise function, with systems delivering valuable business intelligence alongside protection of people and premises.
Guy Rushworth, Enterprise Account Executive, Genetec, says “Our Physical Security report gives us a direct line to the people actually running security operations day to day – end users, integrators, and consultants. This feedback doesn’t just shape our own thinking; it helps the whole industry understand where the real challenges are, and where physical security is headed next. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and all responses remain anonymous. Participants have until September 21 to take part, and will receive early access to the final report plus entry into a random draw for one of eight £500 Amazon gift cards.
