Acumen Cyber has announced a leadership restructure, which has seen Mark Robertson appointed as CEO, Anthony Quinn moving to Founder Director and Kevin Robertson transitioning to CTO.

The restructure of its leadership team is designed to support the next phase of its long-term growth and innovation strategy.

Mark Robertson will take on the position of CEO, where he will lead Acumen Cyber into its next chapter of growth, ensuring the company continues to thrive in the fast-paced cyber security landscape.

Since Acumen’s inception, Mark has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and shaping its vision for the future. His leadership, strategic insight and in-depth understanding of the security issues organisations face today have been key to Acumen’s success and will play a vital role in helping it achieve its future goals.

Anthony Quinn, who has served as CEO since Acumen’s inception, will transition to the role of Founder Director. In his new position, Anthony will continue to provide strategic guidance and support to the leadership team, ensuring Acumen remains on track to fulfil its ambitious growth and innovation goals.

“From the beginning, my goal has been to build a company that empowers businesses to overcome complex cyber security challenges with confidence. Passing the baton to Mark is the right move for Acumen as we continue to grow. His vision, determination and leadership make him the ideal person to guide the company as it moves into this exciting next chapter,” said Anthony Quinn, Founder Director at Acumen Cyber.

Kevin Robertson, whose expertise has been critical in establishing Acumen’s SOC and technology platform, will transition to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

In this capacity, Kevin will focus on driving innovation, enhancing Acumen’s proprietary technology and maintaining its position as a leader in cyber defence.

Acumen is poised to achieve new milestones in 2025, including completing a move to a brand new SOC and office at the award winning Eastworks building, solidifying its position as a leading independent cyber security specialist.

“I am honoured to take on this role at such a pivotal moment for Acumen. With the incredible team we have and the opportunities ahead, I am confident we will continue to set new standards in cyber security, protecting businesses and enabling them to thrive in an increasingly complex threat landscape,” said Mark Robertson, CEO of Acumen Cyber.
