Assa Abloy integrates with Connected Technologies, Ban-Koe Companies and Matrix Systems

Assa Abloy Opening Solutions has announced three new technology integrations with third party manufacturers. The Aperio wireless lock technology has been integrated with Connected Technologies’ Connect ONE cloud-hosted management platform and Ban-Koe Companies’ vIDix Control security management system, while the manufacturer’s IP-enabled PoE (Power over Ethernet) and Intelligent Wi-Fi access control locks have been integrated with the Frontier Integrated Platform from Matrix Systems.

“We’re excited to present this integration with industry leading Assa Abloy Aperio wireless devices to Connect ONE dealers,” said Mike Simon, Managing Partner of Connected Technologies. “Now, dealers can easily expand their services to more doors and offer new protection possibilities that save installation time and money. In addition, the Aperio/Connect ONE integration works with popular Bosch, DMP, ELK and Honeywell Vista panels so they can be up and running with new specs quickly.”

“Integration with the Aperio locksets provides vIDix Control customers with the ability to extend electronic access to areas of their facility that are typically off limits to a wired solution,” added Steve Lohman, Workplace Security Solutions Product Advocate, Ban-Koe Companies.

“Connect ONE offers a simple, scalable solution that complements the Aperio offering perfectly,” stated Mark Duato, Executive Vice President, Aftermarket, Assa Abloy Opening Solutions Americas. “This integration will offer dealers and end-users a highly flexible solution for comprehensive access management.

“The Aperio integration with vIDix Control combines ease of use with flexibility and scalability to enable comprehensive management for any facility,” he continued.

Discussing the integration with the Frontier Integrated Platform, Bruce Rogoff, CEO of Matrix Systems, stated: “The Assa Abloy integration furthers our commitment to open platforms and helping customers secure even more of their facilities. Partnering with Assa Abloy gives Matrix the ability to help lower access control costs to the enterprise organisations we serve across the country.”

“The Matrix commitment to delivering the precise level of security an organization needs is an excellent fit for Assa Abloy,” noted Duato. “The integration with our IP-enabled technology supports that commitment with a solution that makes it easier and more affordable to expand access control deeper into a facility.”
