Assa Abloy’s new SMARTair electronic escutcheon is a renewed and updated access control device that can reportedly be installed on any door – both internal and external.
With multiple finishes and handles, this wire-free, battery-powered escutcheon is aimed at a variety of high traffic environments – from educational institutions to healthcentres, office spaces and co-working sites to public buildings.
The new SMARTair escutcheon offers PIN access, RFID credentials, a combination of these or smartphones, all with real-time monitoring. The device also includes multiple coloured LEDs for different warning signals.
The manufacturer states that SMARTair i-max escutcheon is compatible with almost any Euro profile mortise lock and is also available in Scandinavian, Finnish and Australasian profiles.
