Pyronix has announced its latest Standalone Champion, the BatteryCam, which offers indoor and outdoor video monitoring with built-in movement detection.
Whether protecting inside the home, an outdoor shed, a garage or a property boundary, the BatteryCam is an excellent addition to your home security offering, Pyronix says.
Its power source has been designed around customer convenience, with no wires needed for installation or operation. Customers can choose to manually recharge the device – about once every three months – or install its accompanying solar panel so that the camera can stay on duty all of the time without the need to manually recharge.
Said to be perfect for those areas that customers want to monitor a little more closely, the BatteryCam has built-in PIR functionality that works up to 9m and is configurable to ten different levels of sensitivity for custom settings depending on the environment, Pyronix says.
It also features an impressive 130-degree, Full-HD camera that enables users to see exactly what’s happening at home, 24/7. It connects to Pyronix’s HomeControl2.0 app, where users can view live footage and even playback videos to examine, save and share the things that catch their attention when a 32GB SD card is inserted.
With its two-way-talk functionality, users can communicate with visitors to the home through the DoorbellCam – whether that be to welcome a guest, direct a delivery or even ward off potential intruders, the company says.
Installation couldn’t be easier either, with the full set-up completed in just a few steps. All fixtures and fittings are included with the product too, so it can be installed and then later moved wherever it’s needed.
What’s more, the BatteryCam can be purchased in a convenient all-in-one kit (BATTERYCAM/KIT-SDSOL). Buying the device kit increases the device’s capabilities, delivering the BatteryCam, Solar Panel and 32GB SD card in one package.
Despite being a Standalone Champion with the capability to operate independently, the BatteryCam’s ability is maximised when paired with our Enforcer V11 control panel to deliver a truly comprehensive home alarm system.
