Clearway Group appoints Christian Baumbach as Managing Director

BSIA member Clearway has announced the appointment of Christian Baumbach as Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) of its German business, Secontec, marking an important step in the Group’s continued growth and development across Europe.

Christian brings extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, commercial growth and business transformation across industrial and environmental service sectors.

For the past nine years, Christian has held a number of senior executive positions with Safetykleen, the global leader in chemical cleaning and environmental services.

During his tenure, he played a key role in leading business performance, developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth in highly competitive markets. 

Prior to joining Safetykleen, Christian held several leadership positions within Rothenberger, a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist tools and machinery serving the construction, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, gas and environmental sectors.

In his new role, Christian will lead Secontec’s strategic development and operations in Germany, focusing on strengthening customer relationships, accelerating growth and supporting the delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions to clients across the region.
