The BSIA has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TINYg (Global Information Network).
Both organisations share a common objective to support, inform and advance the UK security industry through collaboration, intelligence-led insight, professional development, and thought leadership.
The areas of cooperation are:
- Training and Professional Development
- Intelligence, Insight, and Reporting
- Event
- Governance
The MOU was signed by Diane Marchena (Global Head of Security, HSBC), Barry Palmer (Chairman of TINYg), Emma Shaw (Deputy Chair, TINYg & Managing Director, Mitie Intelligence Services) at the BSIA’s AGM on 14 May 2026.
The TINYg information network is dedicated to understanding global terrorism by bringing together subject matter experts, in a trusted environment, in order to increase our member’s awareness of threats and allow them to develop their capability to prepare and respond.
It has members in over 150 countries and in 2021, won an UK OSPAS award for Outstanding Security Partnership. Over the past 20 years, TiNYg has organised over 100 free-to-attend physical events worldwide, spanning cities such as London, New York, Hong Kong, Chicago, New England, and Washington DC.
These events, along with TINYg webinars, have brought together academia, governments, blue-chip companies and law enforcement to discuss issues around the globe.
