BSIA members Smoke Screen have renewed as a CySPAG Registered Manufacturer for the second year.
Smoke Screen believes that the news proves that they are showing a continued commitment to cyber security best practice.
CySPAG registration demonstrates a continued focus on secure product design, transparent vulnerability management, and responsible support throughout the product lifecycle, helping build confidence across the security supply chain.
“We renewed our CySPAG Manufacturer Scheme membership because it gives us a clear, industry-specific framework for developing and maintaining connected security products responsibly,” a spokesperson for Smoke Screen said. “As we continue to launch new connected smoke devices and supporting platforms, cybersecurity cannot be treated as an afterthought or a best guess.
“The CySPAG scheme gives us a practical benchmark to work against, helping us align our approach with recognised guidance, existing requirements and security-sector best practice.
“For us, renewal is about maintaining a consistent baseline of cybersecurity across our connected products, supporting integrators and end users with greater confidence and making sure our development process is guided by an established framework”.
