Building on their highly popular series of integrated high-security solutions events, the CNI Security Group has announced their next event, ‘Unmasking Cloud Technologies’.

The free-to-attend event will be held at the historic Brands Hatch motor racing circuit, on Friday 21st July, with registration from 9:30 am.

Aimed at End Users, Consultants and System Designers in the CNI space, the event offers delegates a rare opportunity to – dispel some of the myths about cloud-based technologies, find out more about the technologies themselves, and learn how they are currently being deployed within some of the highest-level security applications in the UK.

Alongside a new educational seminar format, leading security industry manufacturers barox, ISM, Harper Chalice and Nedap, joined by guest manufacturer Motorola Solutions, will be showcasing a range of the very latest in cutting-edge CNI/NPSA security technologies suitable for deployment in high security sites including, utilities, power, prisons, nuclear, airports, etc.

These technologies include:

Cameras, analytics, Access Control, PIDS Systems, Microwave Detection, Radar, industrial switches and PSIM/VMS solutions, and including a variety of systems which are the only NPSA approved solution in their class. Harper Chalice’s recent alliance with European market leader in detection solutions, Sorhea, goes to further enhance the Group product offering for the CNI space.

Throughout the morning, each seminar will be delivered by an industry recognised expert, covering essential subjects such as, ‘Cloud benefits and drawbacks’, ‘How cloud products are designed with cyber security built-in’, ‘Providing government with cloud services’, ‘Delivering cloud solutions’ and concluding with Andrew Sieradzki from the Cabinet Office, with a seminar entitled ‘How Critical National Infrastructure is utilising the cloud for security’.

An open panel Q&A session will finish the event. After lunch, in the early afternoon, the event will host an optional opportunity to visit the BMW TAS racing garage.

“After the great success of our previous events, the CNI Security Group is really excited to launch a new format, which further strengthens its position as the educational forum of choice for CNI stakeholders,” says Sara Fisher, Chairperson CNI Security Group. “The event emphasis is now firmly on debating the big security questions, reviewing the latest technologies, hearing directly from end users about their experience of deployment in real use case scenarios and demonstrating end-to-end, integrated security solutions which meet the resilience and qualification credentials required for CNI and high-security applications.”
