Cyacomb announces three new hires to support continued global expansion

Cyacomb

Cyacomb has announced it has appointed three new team members as it continues to grow globally, with Chris Boon, Damien Gauthier and Dana Feliciano all joining.

The new appointments will support Cyacomb’s efforts to deliver its technology to more organisations and law enforcement agencies to improve the safety of the digital world.

The appointments reflect the continued momentum across the business and the growing demand for technology that helps organisations identify offenders, protect victims and reduce exposure to harmful material.

Cyacomb helps law enforcement and organisations rapidly identify illegal and harmful content on digital devices. The platform is used by organisations and law enforcement globally to detect and protect against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Cyacomb’s technology allows organisations to rapidly scan devices for CSAM, ensuring illegal material is identified and offenders have no place to hide.

Crucially, organisations do not see any images or sensitive files during the process. Instead, the technology identifies known illegal material through secure matching techniques, ensuring privacy is preserved while enabling organisations to act quickly if a risk is identified.

Cyacomb is currently going through a period of global growth, with it recently announcing a new partnership with the Internet Watch Foundation to offer its services to the private sector.

The appointments come in the wake of Chris Johnson being appointed as the company’s CEO in August 2025, and they also coincide with Alan McConnell, Cyacomb’s Head of Customer Success, being promoted to Chief Operations Officer.

Each new hire brings valuable experience across law enforcement, digital investigations and public safety technology, further strengthening the team as Cyacomb continues to evolve and grow.

The new hires include:

  • Chris Boon has been appointed as Customer Success Manager to support Cyacomb’s customer engagement. Chris spent nearly 15 years in UK policing, and since 2022 he has worked in the private technology arena, establishing and nurturing relationships with local and national law enforcement agencies to make them more efficient.
  • Damien Gauthier has been appointed as International Sales Executive to bring Cyacomb’s technology to more organisations enabling them to protect their environments against CSAM. Damien brings experience in sales, account management, and digital solutions across international markets.
  • Dana Feliciano has been appointed as Sales Executive, North America. Dana brings a strong background in SaaS public safety technology, with experience working alongside law enforcement and government agencies to support the adoption of solutions that improve investigative efficiency. At Cyacomb, Dana will focus on helping organisations leverage its platform to rapidly identify harmful content – enabling faster, more informed decisions and supporting efforts to make the world a safer place.

Chris Johnson, CEO of Cyacomb, said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris, Damien and Dana to Cyacomb at such an important stage in our growth journey. Each of them brings valuable experience across public safety, law enforcement engagement and technology, which will help us continue expanding our reach globally.

“As organisations and law enforcement agencies face growing pressure to identify and respond to harmful and illegal material quickly and responsibly, demand for trusted and privacy-first technology continues to grow. These appointments strengthen our ability to support customers, build new partnerships and continue delivering technology that helps make the digital world safer.”
