Datapath have announced Steven Simpson as its new sales and account manager for the Middle East. Bringing extensive experience to Datapath’s Middle East presence from living and working in the region for over 17 years, Simpson’s CV includes successful tenures with industry giants such as Crestron and most notably, Mitsubishi.
“I have known Steve for several years from his time at Mitsubishi and I’m delighted to have his extensive experience with us here at Datapath,” said David Griffiths, VP Global Sales for Datapath. “His knowledge of AV markets in the Middle East is second to none and we are thrilled to have him join our global team.”
Simpson’s territory will see him covering UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt – managing Datapath’s key accounts in the region while expanding its customer base with new opportunities.
