Datapath will be joining forces with Samsung Displays to showcase the very latest Control Room video management technology at the UK Security and Policing show.

The event, which runs from March 11 – 13, sees only government vetted and approved manufacturers and attendees gather at Farnborough Exhibition Centre for three days of conferencing, networking and product demonstration.

For Datapath, it provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the very latest capabilities of its Aetria solution to a very specific audience. Designed from the ground up for mission critical control rooms, Aetria’s wide range of capabilities now includes an integrated events engine – easily creating automated workflows that trigger actions based on internal or external events.

These workflows are created by joining together ‘nodes’ that are then executed in Aetria. As an example, a workflow could be easily created to open a specified set of protocols in an emergency situation.

Using Samsung desktop monitors and a videowall powered by Samsung LED displays, booth visitors will see how the technology works seamlessly together for easy-to-manage, flexible control of multiple video sources and end points.

Adam Marsden, sales and account manager for Datapath UK & Ireland, said: “This will be our second attendance at this prestigious event following our productive inaugural attendance last year. The quality of attendees is very high end and allows us to show the benefits of Aetria first hand to key decision makers.”

He adds: “By partnering with Samsung, visitors to our booth will be able to see in stunning detail how our latest developments provide even more benefits to control room operators and system managers.”

Datapath’s Aetria solution uses enterprise-grade encryption with rolling keys to ensure maximum security for the control room.

The system has successfully undergone penetration testing through accredited UK Governmental processes which provides independent verification of trusted, secure technology.
