His Excellency Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Director of the General Department of Airports Security at Dubai Police, has recently welcomed Mr Boutros Boutros, Divisional Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brand at Emirates Group, who paid a visit to Dubai Police General HQ, within the entities endeavours to explore new ways of cooperation in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness; Brigadier Ahmed Rashid Al Muhairi, Assistant Director of the General Department of Airport Security for Operations Affairs; and several senior officers.
Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej welcomed Mr Boutros Boutros, affirming the Dubai Police General Command’s keenness to share their knowledge, experiences, and expertise in various specialisations with all governmental and private entities for its positive impact on raising the level of institutional performance and enhancing partnerships and communication with different entities.
Dubai Police Command and Control Centre
Major General Ali Atiq accompanied Mr Boutros Boutros to the Command and Control Centre, where they were received by Colonel Mohammed Al Muhairi, who gave a presentation on the Centre’s operational system, the latest services and initiatives that enhance security and safety in the Emirate, and the Centre’s key equipment and recent additions such as the “3D map and patrol management and monitoring system.
Dubai Police Security Media
Ms. Manal Ibrahim, Director of Security Media, outlined the organisational structure of the Security Media Department, the role of each section in producing media content, performance indicators, results over the past two years, the corporate communication guide, Dubai Police media policy, media coverage for security, community, criminal, and traffic events, press releases, magazines issued by Dubai Police and other topics ensuring honest and transparent communication with the community, thereby enhancing the level of safety and security in the Emirate and achieving the strategic goals of Dubai Police.
Corporate Identity and Exhibitions
Ms. Rahma Ismail Jarman, an Executive in the Department of Corporate Identity and Exhibitions, introduced the department’s organisational structure and the marketing system in the Dubai Police, including the types of marketing campaigns.
Dubai Police Ramadan Games
Colonel Abdulbasit Ali, Director of the Sports Affairs Department in the General Department of Community Happiness, provided an overview of the sports tournaments organised by Dubai Police during Ramadan, involving 23 individual and team games with 3,000 male and female players of 40 different Arab and foreign nationalities.
He explained that 222 won contests in football sevens, basketball, beach volleyball, paddle tennis, snooker, shooting, taekwondo, rowing, athletics, the Dubai Police Community Obstacle Challenge, traditional games, and other sports.
Dubai Police Museum
Mr. Boutros also paid a visit to the Dubai Police Museum, where he was greeted by Mrs. Alia Mohammed Al Ajlah, Head of the Dubai Police Museum Department.
Mrs. Al Ajlah explained to Mr. Boutros Boutros the contents of the Dubai Police Museum, which includes a digital cinema hall, a hall for displaying community participation, a specialised hall that documents the fruitful journey of Dubai Police, a weapons and equipment exhibition hall, and a hall displaying some seizures in various cases made by Dubai Police.Â
Mr. Boutros Boutros also learned about the development story and the various achievements that Dubai Police have accomplished over the past decades in various security and community fields.
Dubai Police Officers Club
Mr. Boutros Boutros also visited the Dubai Police Officers’ Club, where he learned about the club’s facilities and services provided to its members, which are part of the Employee Happiness Program.Â
At the end of the visit, Major General Ali Atiq presented a commemorative shield to Mr Boutros Boutros in appreciation of his valuable visit to the Dubai Police General HQ.
