Dubai Police Forensic Training Centre welcomes students from Hartland International

The International Centre for Forensic Sciences at Dubai Police (ICFS) recently welcomed a delegation of students from Hartland International School Dubai who visited the Centre to learn about the best practices and systems implemented in the General Department of Forensics and Criminology.

Expert Colonel Dr Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Director of ICFS, welcomed the students and expressed Dubai Police’s commitment to sharing knowledge and experiences with educational institutions, thereby enhancing the work ecosystem.

He then gave the students insights into the various departments and sections within the General Department of Forensics and Criminology. Additionally, he explained ICFS’s role in supporting forensic evidence research regionally and internationally.

Al Ghafri also highlighted the international-level training programs available to participants from various forensic sectors, including academia, industry, and service.

The student delegation concluded their visit with high praise for the advanced level of criminal sciences they observed and expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage with the progressive experiences of the Dubai Police in the field of forensic evidence and criminology.
