The Organising Committee of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 hosted a discussion session for the leaders of the participating tactical teams at the Dubai Police training facility in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai.
The session focused on promoting preparations and readiness, as well as sharing experiences and best practices that various police and specialised units will employ during the challenge.
During the discussion session, police leaders received an in-depth overview of the UAE SWAT Challenge and its five key events: Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Mission, High Tower Climb, and Obstacle Course.
They discussed the tactical approaches, physical abilities, and skills teams need to complete each event in the shortest possible time to earn the highest points.
Additionally, the leaders of tactical teams explored ways to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and exchange specialised training techniques for SWAT teams, along with the modern equipment used in the challenge competitions. They expressed their teams’ readiness to participate in the UAE SWAT Challenge by selecting skilled personnel capable of achieving the best results and scores.
It’s worth mentioning that the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 is the largest event of its kind for special units and tactical teams, featuring participants from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
The event is open to the public, allowing spectators to watch the teams compete over five days and cheer for their respective countries.
