Following the huge success of the 2024 inaugural awards, the SSEAs are delighted to announce that entries are now open for 2025.
The Security & Safety Entrepreneur Awards (SSEAs) are designed to recognise and celebrate entrepreneurs in start-ups and established businesses who are making significant contributions to the field of protecting people, organisations, places and other assets; keeping them secure and safe. These awards are open to any entrepreneur or entrepreneurial venture that focuses on security and safety in any sector, after all security and safety are ubiquitous.
The criteria for these awards are based on extensive research on key factors that contribute to and characterise outstanding performance. The SSEAs are being set up in collaboration with key industry associations and groups, and were started with the help of our Founding Supporters, the Banks Foundation, British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and Skills for Security.
Entry to the SSEAs is open through to 21 January 2025 and nominations are invited in the following categories:
Young Entrepreneur of the Year (aged 30 and under)
Entrepreneur of the Year
Intrapreneur of the Year
Entrepreneurial Business of the Year: up to £10m
Entrepreneurial Business of the Year: above £10m
Market Disruptor of the Year
Family-Owned Business of the Year
University Start-up of the Year
Lifetime Achievement
Additionally, organisers are looking for sponsors for the 2025 awards, noting that the SSEAs “provides a great opportunity to position your organisation at the forefront of the industry!”
