Genetec has announced its plans for DCD>Connect taking place at the Business Design Centre in London from 17-18 September 2024.

DCD>Connect brings together 3,000 senior leaders working from the data centre community to address the challenges and opportunities in shaping the digital infrastructure ecosystem in Europe and beyond.

At the event, Genetec will be demonstrating its latest innovations for data centre security and operations, alongside its partners Axis Communications and Total Security Protection (TSP). Flagship solutions on display will include Security Center SaaS and Axis Powered by Genetec.

Built with cybersecurity and privacy at its core, Security Center SaaS is an enterprise-grade, open and unified solution that offers maximal flexibility in configuration for customers.

Based on a hybrid-SaaS architecture, it allows organisations to move components and sites to the cloud based on their needs and requirements using a combination of cloud-native services and cloud-managed appliances, with storage and processing at the edge.

Combining access control, video management, forensic search, intrusion monitoring, automation, and many other advanced security capabilities, Security Center SaaS ushers in a new chapter in the technology evolution of the physical security industry.

Axis Powered by Genetec is the industry’s first enterprise-level access control offering that combines Genetec access control software with Axis network door controllers in a single easy-to-deploy offering.

Equally at home on-premises or in cloud and hybrid-cloud environments, it includes advanced access control features that are continuously updated with the newest feature and cybersecurity enhancements.

“As demand for cloud services continues to soar, regulations evolve and cyber threats increase, data centres have a complicated new reality to navigate,” said Nick Smith, Business Development Manager, Genetec. “We look forward to demonstrating how Genetec can help operators to unlock efficiencies, mitigate risks and streamline compliance.”

“At Axis, we believe that cutting-edge technologies and strong partnerships are what it takes to succeed in the fast-paced data centre landscape,” Peter Dempsey, EMEA Key Account Manager, Axis Communications, added. “Our participation at DCD>Connect underscores our dedication to empowering businesses with power saving, sustainable and secure-by-design cameras, IoT technology and devices that support growth now and into the future.”

“Total Security Protection (TSP) have been working on the frontline of Data Centre Security for over 30 years and our clients include leading Global Data Centres, Chris Worrall, Sales Director, Total Security Protection concluded. “Our success is driven by the strong relationships we hold with technology partners, enabling us to meet and exceed Data Centre installation and service requirements.

“Our participation in DCD>Connect, alongside Genetec and Axis, will offer valuable opportunities for all three companies to forge new relationships and educate the sector on our unified security solutions which address Data Centre core challenges and help meet their demanding performance drivers.”
