Hikvision introduces new demonstration vehicles

Hikvision has launched a new fleet of demonstration vehicles to bring its latest technologies, products, and solutions to all parts of the UK (as well as Ireland in the near future when lock down begins to ease).

The company says the vehicles have been designed specifically with the needs of installers and integrators in mind, and are packed with working kit set up for immediate, practical hands-on demonstrations.

In addition, they will reportedly allow installers and integrators to examine the latest technology developments and applications for themselves, and also provide a means for them to showcase products and solutions to their own end-user customers, in locations convenient to them.

“The vans are impressively equipped, and they allow us to deliver a literal roadshow full of newly developed and relevant products and technologies to those who utilise them every day,” said Gary Harmer, Sales Director at Hikvision UK & Ireland. “They’re the people who benefit most from a hands-on opportunity to see them in action.”

The demonstration vehicles will launch with various solutions on display, including:

·       AX PRO wireless alarm system

·       Access control and intercom solutions, including the award-winning MinMoe Touch-Free Access Terminals

·       Key Hikvision technologies, including ColorVu, Acusense, Fisheye and PanoVu cameras, thermal perimeter protection and ANPR

·       Back to Work solutions

·       Video and audio convergence applications

·       HikCentral management software

“The products and solutions demonstrated in the vehicles will evolve over time as new technologies and innovations are introduced into our ranges,” Harmer added. “Installers and integrators, as well as their end user customers, will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest kit while maintaining all the required social distancing. And all of that can be done at their own premises or on-site at an ongoing or potential project.”
