HKC, a leading manufacturer of intruder alarm solutions across the UK and Ireland, appointed John Oliver as Product Manager to further strengthen the team and shape the company’s future with new product innovation.

Oliver brings with him over 15 years of experience in the security industry, having started his career in 2010 at Visonic in a technical support role. His early work quickly expanded into pre-sales and product development, reflecting his deep understanding of the market.

In 2016, he joined Pyronix Hikvision as Product Manager before moving to ASSA ABLOY in 2020, where he led the Yale smart alarm category for the EMEIA region.

In his new role at HKC, Oliver will manage the current product portfolio while playing a key role in developing the next generation of HKC products and services. He will work closely with the R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure the continued delivery of innovative solutions that align with both installer and end-user needs.

With experience spanning both professional and DIY alarm systems, John brings a unique perspective to the team. This background gives him valuable insight into what both installers and end users expect from modern security solutions. He aims to use this experience to ensure HKC’s products are not only easy to install and sell, but also deliver tangible benefits to customers across the board.
