Collaborating with one of its partners and sharing stand SA HO3 at Intersec 2025, Wavestore will unveil some exciting enhancements to its platform and will be introducing a camera range for its Middle East customers. Here, Managing Director, Mark Claxton, and Middle East Business Development Manager, Mustapha Kabbara tell us more…

What can visitors to your Intersec stand expect to see?

MK: “We’re proud to be collaborating with one of our partners this year. Visitors can explore how Wavestore’s open-platform video management system (VMS), server, and camera range deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end, integrated solution. Our platform is designed with flexibility in mind, and we’ll demonstrate how it integrates seamlessly with a variety of devices and technologies to optimise security operations and deliver actionable insights.

“We’ll be running live demonstrations, introducing our latest IP camera range, and showcasing new features included in our upcoming V6.40 release. These updates are designed to meet the needs of sectors like retail, transport, and critical infrastructure, reflecting the unique challenges faced by businesses in the region.”

Can we expect any announcements from you at the show?

MC: “We’ll be unveiling exciting enhancements to our platform, including an update to our Health Monitor tool. This improvement makes it easier to ensure maximum system uptime and enables quicker issue resolution, reinforcing our commitment to staying ahead in a fast-moving industry.”

MK: “For our customers in the Middle East, we are delighted to announce the introduction of our new camera range, which is fully SIRA-compliant. This addition provides customers with even more options for building bespoke solutions that align with local regulations and expectations.”

What will be the primary challenges, and what is your strategy to overcome potential hurdles?

MC: “Staying ahead of rapid technological advancements and maintaining seamless integration across complex systems is an ongoing opportunity. We’re tackling this by investing in research and development and expanding our network of technology partners, ensuring that our platform continues to offer unrivalled flexibility.”

MK: “Navigating regional compliance requirements and diverse client needs can also be challenging. However, by deepening our local presence, working closely with regional experts, and tailoring our solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients, we ensure our offering is always relevant and compliant.”
