Intersec 2026 interview: Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems Intersec

At Intersec 2026, Ajax Systems will present two stands, each demonstrating the company’s cutting-edge technologies and engineering excellence. The first stand will focus primarily on the fully wireless EN 54-certified product line. The second stand will showcase its “Dare to be First” innovations. In this exclusive interview with Mohamad Saoud, Regional Business Development Director, Ajax Systems, we hear in greater detail about what visitors can expect, its main drivers for business next year, and more.

Could you tell us what visitors can expect from your stand in 2026?

MS: “The EN 54-certified solution is based on top-notch technology, exceptional user experience, and wide integration possibilities. Certified to both EN 54 and EN 50131 (Grade 2), the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller — a touchscreen control and indicating equipment — provides not only fire safety but also intrusion protection and even video surveillance. All these integrations will be available for live demonstration at the booth. These innovations directly address the key requirements of the Middle East market, where EN 54 and Civil Defense-approved wireless solutions are increasingly becoming the new standard.

“The second stand will highlight innovations premiered during the seventh Ajax Special Event: “Dare to be First.” Among the revolutionary technologies on display:

● The first-ever wireless Grade 3 intrusion protection system, designed to meet the growing demand in the Middle East for high-security solutions that combine reliability, flexibility, and compliance with regional standards.

● New video products, including HLVF cameras, additions to the NVR portfolio, and a new Superior product line — with more robust hardware and enhanced capabilities, ideal for large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects common across the region.

● A new Ajax Hub, built to meet the demands of complex and large-scale installations, supporting up to 999 wired or wireless devices in any combination — a perfect fit for the fast-developing smart city and enterprise sectors in the Middle East.

● Two new outdoor motion detectors, designed for high-precision perimeter coverage even in challenging weather conditions typical for the region, while maintaining a near-zero chance of false alarms.

● And other groundbreaking devices, combining innovation and practicality — ready to meet the expectations of Middle Eastern professionals who seek technology that’s both advanced and regionally adaptable.

“We are ready to surprise and inspire — visit the Ajax Systems stands and experience the future of security firsthand, tailored to the unique needs of the Middle East.”

How are you finding the current market here in the Middle East?

MS: “The Middle East security market continues to grow rapidly, driven by large-scale urban development, infrastructure expansion, and the accelerating demand for smart technologies. We see strong momentum in integrated security, video surveillance, fire safety, and automation solutions, as customers increasingly seek systems that combine reliability, user-friendly control, and scalability.

“We are witnessing particularly strong traction in Saudi Arabia, where giga-projects and smart residential communities are actively adopting wireless fire and intrusion solutions for their flexibility and ease of deployment. The UAE continues to lead the region in regulatory alignment and smart city integration, while other GCC markets are quickly following, fueling the growing demand for such solutions.

“Ajax Systems has been gaining solid recognition across the region thanks to its wireless technology, flexibility, and speed of installation — all perfectly suited to the needs of both residential and commercial sectors.”

What do you feel you are offering that sets you aside from your competitors?

MS: “What truly sets Ajax Systems apart is our unique technology and our revolutionary approach to wireless security — we do not just follow trends; we create them.

“Another key differentiator is our pace of innovation. We listen closely to the market and constantly expand our product line, release software updates, and enhance integration capabilities to meet evolving customer needs. We are bridging between European engineering and Middle Eastern expectations.

“Next one, Ajax Systems covers security, fire detection, video surveillance, and automation — all within a unified ecosystem that ensures seamless interaction between devices and solutions of any scale.

“We also put great emphasis on user and installer experience. Ajax products are designed to be both powerful and intuitive — they are easy to install, manage, and maintain, while also offering exceptional design and quality. It’s technology that people genuinely enjoy using and professionals are proud to work with.

“Ajax Systems has the ability to deliver Grade-certified, Civil Defense-ready solutions without compromising design, usability, or scalability; which is exactly what consultants and developers demand today.

“In short, what makes Ajax Systems stand out is the balance between innovation and practicality — powerful technologies designed to make security smarter, faster, and easier for everyone involved.”

What do you think will be the main drivers for business next year?

MS: “We believe the main drivers for our business in the coming year will be innovation, partner empowerment, and deepening market penetration.

“First, our continued focus on innovative solutions — such as wireless EN 54-certified fire systems, advanced intrusion protection, and video surveillance — will allow us to meet the evolving needs of the region.

“Second, strengthening our partnerships will be critical. By providing localised training, marketing support, and dedicated Arabic-speaking technical assistance, we enable system integrators and distributors to grow their business while delivering superior value to end customers.

“Finally, we are expanding our regional sales organisation by hiring new Business Development Managers across Saudi Arabia and the UAE and other countries. This will allow Ajax Systems to stay closer to partners and projects, provide faster local support, and strengthen our presence in key markets. A stronger on-the-ground team will be essential to sustain our double-digit growth and ensure we deliver the level of responsiveness that the Middle East market expects.

“In short, by combining cutting-edge technology with strong local expertise and empowered partners, we are confident in driving sustainable growth across the Middle East region in the year ahead.”

What will be the primary challenges, and what is your strategy to overcome potential hurdles?

MS: “Our primary challenge is the pace of market growth versus the need for local expertise. To address this, Ajax Systems is actively reinforcing its presence by building a dedicated regional sales and technical structure, ensuring that our partners receive timely support, guidance on certifications such as SIRA, MOI, and ADCD, and quick responses to project requirements. This local empowerment will be key to overcoming operational and regulatory hurdles.”

Are there and special considerations or additional support that you offer your clients across the Middle East?

MS: “Yes, absolutely. We are expanding our network of regional Business Development Managers, who now serve as direct points of contact for partners and system integrators in each country. Their mission is to provide personalised engagement — from project design to commercial coordination — ensuring every partner experiences the full value of Ajax’s growing presence across the region.

“Ajax Academy and pre-sales team offers certification courses, webinars, and regular product trainings in Arabic, enabling professionals to stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices. Technical support is also available in Arabic, allowing partners and clients to receive assistance in their native language.

“We also provide marketing support for regional activities and offer a full library of Arabic materials to help partners localise communication and engage their audiences effectively.
Finally, our growing repository of successful Middle East-based projects serves as a valuable reference and inspiration for future collaborations.”

Are there any new features of the show in 2026 that you’re particularly excited about?

MS: “Intersec 2026 is set to be a major milestone for the security industry, with its growing focus on innovation, smart technologies, and integrated solutions — perfectly aligned with Ajax Systems’ strategy.

“This year, we’re especially excited to showcase not only our latest technologies but also our strengthened regional team — a locally present organisation fully dedicated to supporting partners and driving growth across the Middle East region.”
