Network Optix

On stand SA – I09 at Intersec 2026, which takes place at Dubai Trade show from January 12-14, Network Optix will showcase its latest innovations across its video technology platforms. In this exclusive interview, we hear from the company’s Middle East Regional Sales Manager, Tolga Altun, about everything visitors can expect, about what sets the company apart from the competition, and about the features of the show that the team is most looking forward to seeing, including the expanded AI, smart city, and IoT zones…

What can visitors to your Intersec stand expect to see?

TA: “Visitors to our stand will experience the latest innovations across our video technology platforms — NX Witness and NX EVOS. Together with our global technology partners, we’ll showcase a unified ecosystem for video, security, IoT, and AI, demonstrating how these elements work seamlessly to deliver an intelligent, connected, and secure environment.”

How are you finding the current market in the Middle East?

TA: “The Middle East continues to be at the forefront of global security and technology trends. With its fast-paced decision-making and strong government initiatives, the region rapidly adopts next-generation solutions. It remains an incredible market for leading technology companies like Network Optix to introduce innovation and transformative solutions in video intelligence and cloud-based surveillance.”

What do you feel you are offering that sets you apart from your competitors?

TA: “Network Optix has been at the cutting edge of video technology for over a decade, continuously innovating to solve real-world challenges for our users and partners. What sets us apart is our open, flexible, and partner-driven platform approach — enabling deep integrations with AI, IoT, and analytics systems, allowing our ecosystem to grow dynamically and adapt to the needs of each customer. Visitors can expect to see even more groundbreaking developments this year.”

What do you think will be the main drivers for business next year?

TA: “The region’s growth and digital transformation will continue to drive demand for AI-enabled, cloud-connected, and interoperable solutions. Our focus will remain on empowering partners with the tools to easily deploy, scale, and integrate their platforms — delivering smarter, faster, and more efficient systems across all sectors.”

What will be the primary challenges, and what is your strategy to overcome potential hurdles?

TA: “One of the ongoing challenges in the physical security industry is the gradual transition to cloud adoption. While Middle Eastern regulations around cloud usage are still evolving, we anticipate significant positive shifts in the coming years. Our strategy is to remain flexible, compliant, and ready — offering hybrid and on-premise solutions that bridge the gap until full cloud adoption becomes standard.”

Are there any special considerations or additional support that you offer your clients across the Middle East?

TA: “Yes. We are planning to significantly expand our regional team and establish a more autonomous Middle East operation dedicated to serving our partners and customers in the region. This will strengthen our local presence, enhance response times, and provide direct technical and business support tailored to regional needs. More details will be announced later this year.”

Are there any new features of the show in 2026 that you’re particularly excited about?

TA: “We are particularly excited about the expanded AI, smart city, and IoT zones at Intersec 2026. These areas align perfectly with our vision of integrated, intelligent, and data-driven video ecosystems, and we look forward to demonstrating how Network Optix technology continues to power the next generation of video innovation.”
