In this exclusive interview, Bashar Al Zubaidi, Critical Infrastructure Sales Director-Middle East for Teledyne FLIR Systems Middle East, explains more about what visitors can see on their stand SA, H11 and gives some insight where the business will be heading in 2026 and beyond.

What can visitors to your intersec stand expect to see?

This camera features industry-leading thermal sensitivity, advanced AI analytics and more. Attendees can expect demonstrations of multilayered security solutions, showing how FLIR integrates thermal, visible, and radar technologies to deliver proactive, reliable protection in any environment.”

How are you finding the current market here in the Middle East?

BAZ: “The Middle East market is dynamic and rapidly evolving, with rising security threats driving demand for proactive, robust solutions. FLIR recognises that clients in the region are seeking scalable, cost-effective systems that can be phased in over time, rather than requiring a complete overhaul. Our multilayered approach allows businesses to manage budgets while continuously strengthening their security posture. The appetite for advanced analytics, seamless integration, and future-proof technology is strong, and FLIR is well-positioned to meet these needs with our latest innovations.”

What do you think will be the main drivers for business next year?

As security threats become more sophisticated, organisations are prioritising solutions that offer early detection, reliable classification, and seamless interoperability. What will be the primary challenges, and what is your strategy to overcome potential hurdles?
