ITS America Events have announced several state and local partnerships, amplifying the programming and overall experience during the ITS America Conference & Expo. The event, hosted by ITS America and produced by RX Global, will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, from April 24-27, 2023 (Conference: April 24-27 | Expo Hall: April 25-27).

This year’s event will feature the expanded ITS America Events Future Leaders Program, in partnership with Southwest Research Institute (SWRI) and ITS Texas, designed to bring students, emerging leaders and young professionals to the ITS America Conference & Expo; providing them an opportunity to attend education and training sessions, meet with exhibitors, sponsors, technology providers and network with ITS professionals that can offer career advice and mentorship.

“Our partnerships with industry leaders like ITS Texas and SWRI elevate the ITS America Conference & Expo to new heights while bringing in the next generation,” said Jaime McAuley, ITS America Conference & Expo event director at RX. “This educational opportunity is unmatched, as it exposes students to emerging industry leaders and allows them to attend training sessions and engage in networking opportunities, all with a future career in ITS in mind.”

One of the offerings at this year’s conference comes directly from ITS America Conference & Expo’s partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service, specifically trade specialists from the Global Automotive and Smart Mobility Team.

Throughout the show, U.S.-based exhibitors will get advice and expertise around international sales, trade, and business development opportunities. The International Lounge located in the expo hall will allow international attendees and exhibitors to meet with U.S. Embassy and U.S. Government trade experts to bolster business and growth.

In addition to the partners previously mentioned, ITS America Events also has the privilege of working with the Texas Department of Transportation (Texas DOT); North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG); Texas Department of Transportation Dallas District; Dallas Innovation Alliance; Texas A&M Transportation Institute; University of Texas and the University of Texas Dallas.

“We are thrilled to bring these different organisations together at the ITS America Conference & Expo with a unified mission, to scale ITS deployment in support of a safer, greener, smarter future, for all.” said Laura Chace, President and CEO of ITS America. “We know firsthand the value of education, partnership, and collaboration from different sectors and countries to help advance our industry forward and prepare the transportation workforce of the future.”

The much-anticipated State DOT CEO Roundtable is returning produced in partnership with The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), featuring premier sponsor, HNTB Corp and supporting sponsors Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Rekor.

Another new session at this year’s event will be the City DOT Roundtable in partnership with the Open Mobility Foundation and sponsored by Qualcomm.
