ITS America Events announced the ITS America Conference & Expo’s plenary sessions, Best of ITS Award finalists and other event programming for its upcoming conference.
The event, hosted by ITS America and produced by RX Global, will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas from April 24-27, 2023 (Conference: April 24-27 | Expo Hall: April 25-27).
“One of the distinguishing factors of the ITS America Conference & Expo is our high-level programming, including the plenary sessions,” said Jaime McAuley, ITS America Conference & Expo event director at RX Global. “This event brings together industry experts, researchers, and government officials who are able to facilitate sessions that set us apart, and ultimately let our attendees walk away with information they can use to implement and deploy new technology.”
The first plenary session, “Digital Infrastructure and the Future of Mobility”, sponsored by AECOM, will take place on Tuesday, April 25, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. CDT. This session will give attendees the opportunity to hear from Robin Hutcheson, Administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and other industry leaders to discuss upgrading legacy systems for the digital age, helping communities prepare for the future, and how data analytics, data, software programs, and cloud computing contribute to the future of mobility.

The second plenary session, “Implementing Innovation and Building an Equitable Transportation System”, sponsored by Movin’On and ITS Korea, is taking place at the main stage Wednesday, April 26, from 10–11:30 a.m. CDT.
Polly Trottenberg, Deputy Secretary for the U.S. DOT will deliver the keynote for this session and other ITS leaders will discuss how transportation technologies help the industry decarbonise, build more resilient systems, grow accessible transportation options, and enhance equity.
