The next ASIS Europe 2021 online event on 2 March will focus on how technology both enables and mitigates security risk. Keren Elazari, CISSP, TED speaker, security analyst and friendly hacker will open the event speaking about cyber security in times of crisis, lessons learned from the past year, and what future-forward organisations are doing right now to stay ahead of current challenges.
With its online event model ASIS Europe has launched a new approach to multi-format learning and ideas exchange. After phenomenal feedback from delegates after the first event day on 11 February, the series continues on 2 March, 23 March and 6 May. There will be live education and networking sessions on each event day from 13.00-18.00 CET, with content on demand in between.
As well as 50+ education sessions, the ability for attendees to make connections and exchange ideas is central to the event design – using an event platform that integrates networking and small discussion rooms is key to the experience.
Additional programme highlights on Tuesday 2 March include: David Cox, Director of Mastercard’s European Cyber Resilience Centre on evolving cyber threats; Glenn Schoen on the connection between online extremism and terrorist violence; Machiel toe Water of Philips with a case study on their converged security team; and Jeroen Harmsen from Nedap exploring how Digital Twins provide a new approach for business driven, agile security.
The following event on 23 March will include an interactive workshop on Environmental Risk for Security Professionals, and on 6 May the focus will be on future security skills and leadership.
Attendees can choose from a Premium Pass (€395/€325 for ASIS Members) with full access to the live programme, networking and on demand content, or the free Basic Pass providing a selection of the event sessions and access to the marketplace and table talks.
For companies providing technology and services to security practitioners, a range of exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are available.
