Kidde Commercial has launched its new 2X-A and 2X-AT panels along with its new EXCELLENCE series devices, bringing a new dimension to addressable fire detection.

The panels have not only been updated, but they are also available with the new EXCELLENCE series protocol.

The Kidde Commercial 2X-A and 2X-AT panels, together with the EXCELLENCE series detectors, IO modules and manual call points, provide a “complete intelligent fire detection system, incorporating leading edge technology”, the company says.

More intuitive than ever.

Based on existing 2X-A panel features and with full backwards compatibility, the new KIDDE COMMERCIAL panels include an improved user interface on the 2X-AT variant, with a 7” colour Touch Screen – a very useful feature for customers preferring an alternative to the jog dial, the company says.

Intuitive set up and operation, intelligent smoke discrimination, together with IP connectivity to mobile devices and CMS, ensure that smoke is detected and notified early, saving property and lives.

Easy remote access over Ethernet reduces trips to site through remote programming and fault diagnosis, Kidde Commercial says.

The combination of the Kidde Commercial panels and EXCELLENCE series devices provide unsurpassed performance for standalone systems up to small/medium size networked applications, offering features previously only seen in a large system.
