KnowBe4

As part of the Leeds Digital Festival, KnowBe4, in partnership with aql, will host the first CyberSecure Leeds: Human Risk & Connectivity Summit. The immersive event will take place on Thursday, 19 September 2024 at aql’s Salem Chapel in Leeds.

The CyberSecure Leeds summit has been designed for businesses of all sizes and government officials to learn about the most prevalent cyber threats and gain valuable insights into building a resilient defence strategy.

Through expert-led sessions and interactive workshops, attendees will acquire actionable strategies to enhance their organisation’s cyber awareness and preparedness.

The event offers an excellent opportunity for like-minded professionals from SMEs to enterprises to network and engage in discussions, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations to develop security measures.

Renowned cyber expert, Javvad Malik will engage the audience in an interactive game of “What the Facts!?” and host a panel session that asks: “Are employees TAPPED Out when it comes to cybersecurity?” before heading out to informal breakout sessions. Lunch will be served during networking sessions.

aql’s Founder and Chairman, Prof. Adam Beaumont will welcome attendees to the company’s historic headquarters and offer insight into one of the UK’s most innovative telecoms operators, and ‘hidden enabler’ of smart cities.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive preview of ‘The Inside Man’ Series 6, KnowBe4’s award-winning, Netflix-style security awareness series.

“As cybersecurity becomes increasingly entrenched in everyday business, it’s crucial that we collaborate to develop best practices and strategies to defend against future cyber threats that challenge us,” commented Dan Hindley, senior director of sales (UK&I) at KnowBe4. “Through events like this, we can help businesses embed a strong security culture into their everyday processes, including building a human firewall.

“We’re grateful to have aql as our partners to help to educate organisations locally, and beyond, to keep them safe from the ongoing cyber threats that challenge us.”

“At aql, we are dedicated to the security of our network, services and customers’ data,” said Bill Brigden, CTO, aql. “As an ISO-27001-accredited business, security is paramount to our operations.

“Partnering with leaders like KnowBe4 ensures that we stay at the forefront of cybersecurity, continuously enhancing our resilience against diverse threats.
