Helen Maguire, the Member of Parliament for Epsom and Ewell, recently visited the Peoplesafe office to learn more about the company’s innovative personal safety technology and speak with the senior leadership team about its impact across various industries.
During her visit, Maguire was given a tour of the Peoplesafe office by CEO Naz Dossa, which included a visit to the company’s state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centre. In this steel reinforced, bomb-proof and airlocked complex she saw in person how Peoplesafe’s technology is used to provide 24/7 life-saving support to people in emergency situations.
The firm’s technology plays a crucial role across the public and private sectors, ensuring the safety of individuals working in all environments. With direct links to emergency services, the technology is designed to give users peace of mind, knowing that help is just a button press away whenever they need it.
Helen also took the opportunity to speak with Naz Dossa and Jen Cosgrove, Chief Operations Officer, about the importance of improving personal safety legislation and how technology can help organisations create safer working environments for their employees.
Commenting on the visit, Helen Maguire said: “I had the pleasure of touring Peoplesafe’s facilities and meeting their senior leadership team. It’s incredible to see a global technology business based here in Epsom making such a difference, providing life-saving support through their innovative personal safety technology.
“Knowing they’re helping people in emergencies 24/7, with direct links to emergency services is immensely reassuring. Peoplesafe’s work across industries, from the NHS to government, highlights the huge impact they’re having both locally and globally.”
