Multiple new appointments for Boon Edam

Boon Edam has added several new key members of staff. Nine people have joined the team to fill critical roles to support the manufacturer’s growth and expansion.

I look forward to working alongside some of them directly at our new headquarters in downtown Raleigh.”

Mark Perkins rejoins Boon Edam USA as Vice President of Strategic Markets Development. Perkins previously served as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales and was instrumental in the rapid worldwide growth of Boon Edam’s security products.

Derek Nilsen also rejoins Boon Edam USA as Director of Marketing. Nilsen’s history with Boon Edam began in 1991 when he was hired as the first National Sales Manager for the company. After being promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Nilsen spent 10 years with Boon Edam and returns to the team with over 20 years of experience in the security industry.

Patrick Godfrey serves as a Service Sales and Regional Sales Manager. Godfrey joined the Boon Edam team earlier this year, bringing with him more than 10 years of field service experience and more than seven years’ experience serving the United States as a Marine Corps Sergeant.

Andrew White serves as a Human Resources Generalist. In this new role, White assists with various HR activities including leading new HR initiatives and projects, supporting employee onboarding, responding to inquiries about policies and procedures, and more to promote a positive workplace that drives business results.

Codi Nethercutt serves as a Finance Representative. Nethercutt is responsible for the creation and delivery of invoices to customers, overseeing invoice entries into customer portals, posting service invoices into accounting systems, generating reports associated with service invoicing, and processing credit card payments.

Derek Ihnen serves as a Junior Contracts Administrator. Ihnen has worked in financial compliance for the past three years, managing several research grants across his career. Ihnen holds a master’s degree in Economics from North Carolina State University and has two Bachelor of Science degrees from NC State in both Agriculture Business Management and Economics.

Amanda Jacobs serves as the Sales Support Administrator for the inside and outside sales teams. Jacobs is responsible for supporting all members of the Boon Edam USA sales team by processing leads from new and/or existing customers, ensuring all documents are maintained and current, entering quotes, leading special projects, and more.

Neil Grice and Jacob Welton both serve as Inside Sales Representatives. As Inside Sales Representatives, Grice and Welton are responsible for managing sales projects from order to completion, supporting sales efforts to close business, preparing proposals, communicating with internal company departments, leading pipeline management, and more. Both Grice and Welton will manage their own respective territories.
