NACD joins the British Security Industry Association (BSIA)’s CySPAG Registered Installer Scheme

NACD Ltd has officially joined the Cybersecurity Product Assurance Group (CySPAG) Registered Installer Scheme.

By doing so, NACD believes it is reinforcing its commitment to secure installation practices and industry-leading cybersecurity standards for connected security products.

The CySPAG Installer Scheme, developed by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), sets a benchmark for installers to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are implemented during the installation and maintenance of security systems. By joining the scheme, NACD pledges to uphold strict requirements outlined in BSIA Form 369, which include:

  • Installing devices from CySPAG-registered manufacturers or conducting thorough due diligence on product security.
  • Maintaining network security during installations and providing clients with clear guidance on secure usage.
  • Offering timely security updates and vulnerability disclosure procedures to protect against emerging threats.

The BSIA has welcomed NACD to the growing network of installers committed to raising the bar on IoT security across the professional security sector. This collaboration underscores the industry’s collective effort to mitigate cyber risks and protect end-users.
