The newly-formed Professional Security & Safety Alliance (PSSA) has made its debut at Intersec 2025. In this exclusive interview, Operations Director Brian Tarpey, tells Security on Screen’s Peter Mawson about the alliance’s aims to become a global organisation which “registers all people involved in the security and safety industry – from CEOs to security officers”. Its ultimate goal is to bring the security and safety industry together, to make it more professional and safer for everyone.

“We’ve deliberately not limited this to a specific category of people, because we want to hear from the members what they want, how we can support them, and how we can collaborate,” Tarpey says.
