IFSEC has announced that in 2024, the security exhibition will feature a new conference dedicated to the fast changing world of smart tech for end users, FM professionals, consultants and integrators.

In partnership with the global research and consultancy company, Omdia, the conference will run at IFSEC 2024 in London’s ExCeL Gallery Rooms, away from the exhibition floor.

The conference will give delegates an opportunity to look back at the past 12 months and learn about the trends and innovations that will shape their world into the future.

It will cover topics such as Smart Infrastructure and Buildings, AI, 5G, IoT, Cyber Security and much more as expert analysts and thought leaders unpick the key themes in leading edge property tech.

IFSEC will partner with Omdia on the content for the conference. With hundreds of thousands of data points, Omdia is perfectly placed to identify which technologies will play the biggest role in the properties of tomorrow.

Its analysts provide insights, custom research and strategy consultancy to some of the world’s leading brands in physical security and critical communications, making the team the perfect partner for this conference.

Chris Edwards, Group Director at IFSEC commented: “We’ve long planned to introduce a higher level of content to complement the scale and international respect IFSEC offers.

“It’s clear that technology is driving rapid change in all areas and our visitors need a forum to learn and discuss what this will mean for both new and existing commercial property. Omdia are part of the Informa family and have a reputation for quality and trust which make them perfect as we look to establish this as a fixture in our audiences’ diaries every year.”

Mark Watson, Research VP at Omdia commented: “The Smart Infrastructure analyst team of Omdia is excited to partner with IFSEC, bringing together leading-edge business intelligence and thought leadership with an internationally recognised event brand.

“Connecting the physical security and building tech supply chain around future looking and industry leading trends will drive higher value for all in the community.”
