On Call, one of the country’s strongest performing independent installers, having grown its user base to over 20,000 registered customers nationwide, has introduced its own home security system to the domestic UK market, with the new components combining with 24/7 monitoring service to offer cost competitive domestic security offering to the UK market.

Company CEO, Lee Hosking comments: “Having fitted various house alarms and CCTV for over 20 years and worked with some great suppliers, we took the decision last year to invest in developing the home security system we really wanted.

“We’ve combined our knowledge of alarms, software and CCTV systems and worked with a manufacturer to create a new range of integrated products. Our aim was to include the best of current technology in a package that also worked well in practical everyday use. This is now our preferred system which can be supplied as an Essentials pack or as a customisable package suited to a client’s exact needs.”

After extensive testing the first customer systems were fitted this month and initial feedback is very positive, confirms Connor Dobson, Head of Marketing UK & Europe. “The new system uses wireless components to make fitting much cleaner and more efficient, which homeowners are certainly appreciating, plus the control panel, key fob remotes and App user interface are also really intuitive which makes a massive difference when users are apprehensive of having to learn a new system.” There are 10x core components in the new range which can be specified to suit most domestic layouts, with an Essentials pack offering all the functionality on offer at a basic starting price.

“There are a lot of internet advertisements out there with ridiculous click-bait pricing of systems designed just to draw people in when they are searching, which we are trying to avoid. Once you move past the DIY options and on to a professionally installed system which is actually going to work reliably over time and is backed by a good quality monitored response service, then we believe a sensible pricing policy is the right way to go for most users.” Adds Dobson.

The company has also launched a new website that offers visitors the facility to option their own system and research all the relevant considerations behind making those choices in a comprehensive FAQ area. With good mainland UK-wide coverage and a commitment to install Fast Track orders the following day whenever possible, On Call is adding top notch response times for new customers to their already very good reputation for technical support and customer care.
