Cypress Suprex® Reader-Extender (SPX-1300 for single reader over RS-485, twisted-pair)

Install readers at sites away from the controller using a Cypress SPX-1300 Suprex Reader-Extender over existing RS-485 twisted pair, without buying a second control panel.

A Suprex is a pair of units: The Remote unit connects to the reader, and the Central unit connects to the controller. The typical range for the SPX-1300 is 10000 ft. / 3048 m.

Suprex RS-485 models (SPX-1300, SPX-7500) also provide high immunity to electrical noise under
adverse conditions, such as elevator installations.

Other Suprex models connect the reader to the controller wirelessly, or connect using available fiber optic or Ethernet cable.
