PwC US has announced a three-year, $400 million collaboration investment with Google Cloud, expanding its existing alliance with Google Cloud Security to help organisations modernise security operations and strengthen cyber resilience through AI-driven, intelligence-led defence.
This commitment reflects a combination of PwC’s internal investment in Google Security technology alongside shared goals for delivering these advanced solutions to customers globally.
The expanded collaboration builds on the work PwC and Google Cloud are already doing to support organisations facing increasingly complex cyber threats, fragmented security environments, and growing operational demands.
By combining Google Cloud’s AI-powered security platforms and threat intelligence with PwC’s security transformation, risk, and managed services capabilities, the organisations are helping clients improve visibility, accelerate detection and response, and operate security programs more effectively across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
PwC differentiates this collaboration by combining proven execution at scale with deep regulatory, risk, and executive-level insight, drawing on experience delivering and operationalising complex security transformations in the market.
Beyond implementation, PwC helps organisations connect security operations investments to broader compliance, risk, and enterprise priorities, enabling security transformation that aligns with regulatory expectations, board oversight, and long-term organisational resilience.
“Security professionals are under pressure to move faster and operate smarter in the face of constant change,” said Morgan Adamski, Cyber, Data & Technology Risk Deputy Leader, PwC. “PwC is working with Google Cloud to help organisations operationalise AI and intelligence in ways that meaningfully improve how security teams work, day in and day out.”
PwC and Google Cloud currently deliver an end-to-end security portfolio spanning security operations transformation, cloud-native application protection, threat intelligence, compliance automation, and managed security services. These offerings provide unified visibility across complex environments while enabling AI-driven detection, investigation, and response at scale.
As a Google Cloud Security leading partner for large-scale security operations transformation, PwC supports organisations in designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native security capabilities that help improve speed, visibility, and operational efficiency.
Building on this foundation, PwC continues to extend its agentic, semi-autonomous SOC capabilities, operationalising AI-powered workflows within Google Security Operations to automate investigations, reduce noise, and allow security teams to focus on higher-value decisions.
“PwC supports Google Cloud by bringing the deep transformation expertise that organisations need to translate agentic AI into real operational impact,” said Denise Walter, Vice President, Global Security Sales at Google Cloud. “With PwC, we are helping clients modernise security operations on a global scale, driving consistent resilience, efficacy, and effectiveness across their complex environments.”
The collaboration is further strengthened through integrated threat intelligence, including Google Cloud’s intelligence capabilities, enabling organisations to proactively detect, respond to, and recover from advanced cyber threats.
By embedding Google Threat Intelligence directly into security operations, PwC is helping organisations shift from reactive defence to continuous, intelligence-led security.
“When intelligence and automation are built directly into security operations, organisations are better positioned to prioritise what matters most, respond with confidence and build resilience,” added Adamski.
