Qognify will showcase its next-generation video management software (VMS) and Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) solutions on stand 24004 at ISC West, which takes place March 28-31 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
Visitors to the annual event will discover why organisations around the world are specifying, switching and upgrading to Qognify VMS.
This next-generation VMS combines the powerful core of an enterprise-class system with advanced ecosystem integrations, integrated video analytics capabilities, cloud storage options, low total costs of ownership and business process support that adds value beyond physical security.
The focus of the presentation at ISC West will be on the latest version 7.2 of Qognify VMS, which introduces body-worn video integration, faster access to cameras, maps and views and enhanced vehicle recognition capabilities. In addition, a preview of QogniFinder will be showcased at ISC West.
This new addition to Qognify VMS significantly speeds up investigations by enabling the user to search the video recordings for persons or vehicles according to specific physical attributes such as age, colour of clothing, glasses, etc.
It is based on a powerful forensic database that continuously receives and stores stream-related metadata from various different sources such as cameras, analysis tools and other sensors, making QogniFinder one of the first non-proprietary forensic search tools on the market today.
QogniFinder helps to locate persons or vehicles of interest, as well as to retract their steps during and post incident investigations. Availability is planned with Qognify VMS 7.3, which is scheduled for release mid-year.
Jeremy Howard, Vice President of Sales, Physical Security – Americas at Qognify: “The demands on the VMS are evolving, driven by advances and integrations that a powerful system such as Qognify VMS can deliver. Organisations are moving away from the siloed approach to operating physical security systems and are looking for one integrated platform that they can trust.
“This especially applies to forensic search – nowadays cameras and sensors generate tremendous amounts of metadata, but very few video management systems have developed tools to leverage edge analytics in powerful ways – making Qognify VMS one-of-a-kind when it comes to non-proprietary offerings.”
Other key topics to be showcased at ISC West are the advanced cloud storage capabilities of Qognify VMS and the centralised monitoring and management solution, Qognify Umbrella. It can be used to efficiently and effectively manage large branch networks with hundreds of locations and thousands of cameras, and significantly reduce operating costs.
Completing Qognify’s exhaustive ISC West showcase is its PSIM and Incident Management software solution Qognify Situator, which is being used by airports, transportation networks and critical infrastructure to deliver enhanced situational awareness and response during critical incidents.
