Quanika, a leading software house offering next-gen, open-platform security management solutions; including access control, visitor management and more, is sharing a stand with both CIE Group (5/K70) and Digifort (5/L80) at The Security Event this year, where the brand will be showcasing its latest innovations and integrations.
Its focus is on its recently announced partnership with HID, which have seen Aero and Mercury controllers integrated to Quanika’s open platform, harnessing the capabilities of Microsoft’s Active Directory, coupled with IP audio and video technology and door controllers from Axis, HID and more, simplifying the task of overseeing and safeguarding sites, property, and data.
Quanika will also showcase its new FACE ID mobile application, and its mobile credential integrations with HID and STid.
FACE ID revolutionises access control with its own versatile solution. Utilising smartphones for flexible credentials, it covers various applications like Access Control, Time & Attendance, Mustering, ID Verification and more.
FACE ID offers hassle-free, flexible usage, all powered by O3c technology for efficient communication. It eliminates the need for readers or cards, being an IP-based system requiring no installation, ensuring seamless operation with just a controller connection.
In terms of mobile credential integrations, Quanika is seamlessly integrated with a variety of brands including STID and HID Mobile credentials, offering convenient and secure access solutions. By leveraging smartphones, users can easily manage its credentials for various applications such as access control, time and attendance, and visitor verification. And, by removing the need for physical cards, flexibility and convenience are enhanced, while maintaining robust security measures.
Additionally, the focus will also be on Quanika’s Enterprise solution, which with integration at its core, is a security management platform, seamlessly integrated with best-in-class security, facilities and safety management hardware and software. It is the base to which everything else links back.
Quanika has developed a system take over process from any competitor systems using open-platform hardware, such as HID Aero or Mercury controllers. The process is quick and simple, whereby no hardware has to be changed, through just a firmware download. Quanika simply takes an existing system’s database, unlocks it and cleans-up, ensuring a smooth take over process, preserving hardware investments.
Quanika Managing Director, Leo Cook commented: “We’re really looking forward to seeing our partners, networking with new faces, and exploring how our software takeovers can solve customer pain points, as well as discussing new integration possibilities.
“And, on the CIE Group stand a real highlight will be its 60th anniversary celebrations, taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday, where visitors will get to enjoy champagne on the stand, and see all of its offerings!”
