RegulatingAI takes leading role at the AI & Big Data Expo 2024 in Amsterdam

RegulatingAI recently participated in key panel discussions at the AI & Big Data Expo 2024, held at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam on October 1-2.

This two-day event attracted thousands of attendees from around the world, featuring expert speakers and AI exhibits that highlighted the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and data technologies.

As a major gathering of global thought leaders, industry professionals, and policymakers, the Expo provided a platform to discuss critical issues around AI governance and data science. 

Sanjay Puri, Founder and President of RegulatingAI, was a prominent voice in two high-profile panels. The first, Ethical Considerations in Generative AI and Data Science, delved into the challenges of building ethical AI systems, with Puri and fellow panelists stressing the importance of responsible innovation and the establishment of global governance standards.

In the second panel, Navigating the EU AI Act, discussions focused on how organisations can align regulatory compliance with continued innovation under the framework of the EU AI Act.

In addition to the panels, RegulatingAI hosted live podcasts from the event floor, streamed on its official RegulatingAI Podcast YouTube channel.

These conversations featured industry leaders such as Samwel Magesa, Chairman of MSA Africa; Jeannette Gorzala, CEO and Founder of Act.AI.Now; Kunal Anand, Chief Technology & AI Officer of F5; and Nenad Mijatovic, Director of Data Science & AI at Alstom and RegulatingAI Expert, among others.
