Geoff Gritton, Business Development Manager for Secure Logiq has won BDM of the Year for a third year running at Norbain’s annual awards show, which recognises top sales professionals and employees.
Gritton is a security industry stalwart, but has only been with Secure Logiq for three years. He credits the friendly, family atmosphere and relaxed management style of the Secure Logiq top team for allowing him to get on with the job, and for facilitating his ongoing success.
“Since starting at Secure Logiq, I’ve felt I have always been trusted to do the job in the way I see fit – there is no micromanagement, and I get the job done.”
On his continued success, Gritton says this is achieved in a few ways – consistent engagement, building trust, ensuring the team at Norbain feel valued and respected, as well as his enthusiasm and sense of humour.
“The Secure Logiq product is great so, from that perspective, it’s not a hard sell, but the key to these wins I think is that I try and keep in touch with the Norbain guys, and will speak to someone from the team most days. I will try and contact everyone at least once a month and I send out regular newsletters, or Bing-Bongs, as I call them, and I know everyone’s names and I ask about them and their families, and I care about these people. So now, I am also part of the Norbain family.”
Speaking about the continuing wins, Gritton added that he was “humbled to be chosen again” and hopes for the success to continue.
