Sevco Security has recently announced the appointment of Michael Persechini as their new Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
In this role, Persechini will lead Sevco’s high-performing sales team, build strategic partnerships and work closely with customers to help drive Sevco through its next stage of hyper-growth.
“Michael is a pioneer in the cybersecurity space, with decades of knowledge and a deep technical background that uniquely positions him to understand customers’ needs and the intricacies of their workflows,” said J.J. Guy, CEO & Co-founder at Sevco Security. “We are delighted to have Michael join our leadership team, further refine our customer engagements and equip more organisations with the exposure visibility they need in today’s threat landscape.”
Persechini joins Sevco’s leadership team with nearly 15 years of sales leadership experience, over 25 years of cybersecurity experience and a background in engineering.
He specialises in early-stage, high-growth cyber companies, helping them achieve market goals and develop fundamental building blocks for scale.
Before Sevco, Persechini was the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Interpres Security. Prior to Interpres Security, he held notable cybersecurity sales leadership positions, like Vice President of Sales at Hunters, Vice President of Sales at Mandiant, and more.
Persechini’s success as a sales leader partly comes from his extensive engineering background in the security space. His technical mindset equips him with a deep understanding of customer needs and demands.
“I chose Sevco because they are an early-stage cyber company truly driving innovation in security fundamentals,” said Persechini. “Sevco comprehensively prioritises vulnerabilities and validates remediation, precisely addressing a critical industry need for CISOs and security teams through the industry’s most accurate inventory of every asset and its controls across an organisation.
“I am excited to join the talented Sevco leadership team and scale the company.”
